How could you not love this place?!? Lola engaged in a long conversation with my girlfriend and I and then even called us later on in our trip to see how we were doing. As far as the room, it's absolutely great value for the money, even if it's not luxury...you're hardly paying luxury prices.
Amazing people! Great room. Simple all the necessary items. Fan was plenty to keep cool. Wildlife was pretty awesome too!!! If you look close enough, there is a doe by the bird feeders.
Clean room and priced good. Bed was comfortable Stayed on a whim during a motorcycle trip. Lola was very accommodating. Would stay again.
It appears to be a mother and son establishment, very friendly and attentive to make your visit pleasant. It may not look glamorous from the outside, but it had everything I needed: a good heater, cozy bed, a nice large TV, USB ports on the lamps to recharge phone and Go Pro. It was the best price for the value on my 15-day journey.
For a super cheap dive it can't be beat! The owner was super cool and friendly. It smelled clean. For what you pay for I really don't know what else you could expect. Went with five stars to help counter act the other poor reviews. $45 a night? It's a dang good deal! $45 a night means old and not modern but it's clean and the bathroom works and it has a tv and refrigerator. I've seen way worse in the roadside motel world. Good stuff for sure.
A charming motel in a lovely town. There was a well stocked convenience store, restaurant and grocery store all within walking distance. My room was modest but very clean. The fridge and microwave seemed to be brand new. The shower was super cute done in original pink tiles. The view from my room was perfect- facing East to a small mountain right across the little town street. The morning sun was plentiful but not overpowering. The front yard was so pretty and well kept. It was a pleasure to stand in my bare feet in the clean cushion of grass. The staff and guests were all casual and friendly, I felt safe and comfortable. I slept well. I absolutely recommend this "small town, America" motel - if I'm ever in Eureka again, I will stay there.
